Long-time fans were left unhappy when tickets for the game against Everton sold out in 90 minutes – with some supporters unable to get tickets despite being club members.
The Guardian report that one pair of tickets are being offered for sale online for £15,000 (€18,700).
The club said demand had been unprecedented but the majority of members got tickets for the game.
“Tickets for Leicester City’s final home Barclays Premier League game of the season sold out within 90 minutes minutes of going on sale,” the club said on their website.
“There was unprecedented demand online, over the phone and in-person at the City Fanstore on Monday morning as the majority of Gold and Family Fox Members were able to secure a seat.”
“I can understand people getting upset now but it’s supply and demand and the demand is full,” supporters’ club chairman Cliff Ginnetta said.
“There are people I have known for years and last year they were taking the mick and saying they weren’t going to pay to see them because they’re rubbish and now they want a ticket.”
