EINDHOVEN, Netherlands ● PSV Eindhoven is upset with Sporting Lisbon after they presented their new player Zakaria Labyad.
According to technical manager Marcel Brands, Labyad is still under contract with the Dutch club and Lisbon did not have an agreement with PSV.
‘This shows a lack of respect by Sporting and Labyad’, Brands stated.
Labyad (19) on the other says he is transfer free after playing eight years for PSV. PSV says he still has two years on his contract.
PSV EIndhoven has asked for arbitration and until then Labyad, who signed a five-year contract in Portugal, is not allowed to play for Sporting.
